Theda Kohler

NORTH CALDWELL- THEDA (nee Fisher) KOHLER, 91, passed away, Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020. Born Jan. 15, 1928 in Singac to Theodore and Ruth Fisher, she married Edward Kohler in 1949. She lived in West Paterson before moving to North Caldwell in 1954. Mrs. Kohler worked in the office of the Little Falls Laundry for 25 years before becoming a customer service representative with the Little Falls Savings & Loan Assn. where she worked for 24 years.
She was a former member of Second Reformed Church of Little Falls and was a member of the Little Falls Golden Age Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward M. Kohler, in 2018; by her brother, Douglas Fisher in 2002 and by her two sisters, Elizabeth Fisher and Jane Bayda Crotta.
Mrs. Kohler is survived by several nieces and nephews including: Gregory Bayda, Gregg Alemy, Sharon Siep, Nancy Bayda Hall, Michele Trigo, Audra Rowold and her devoted caregiver, Rosemary Afram.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 4-8 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Funeral will be 10:00 am Thursday from the funeral home followed by interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visit www.bizub.com for driving directions/ online condolences.
