Alex Cupac

Alex Cupac, 79, of Clifton, NJ, passed away on May 25, 2018. Born in Yugoslavia, he was the son of the late Tanasije and Stana (Kozul) Cupac. Alex came to the United States in 1968 settling in Clifton where he resided since. Before his retirement in 1994, he was employed as a pipefitter / welder with Kalama Chemical Co. in Garfield, NJ. Alex had a zest for life. He enjoyed gardening, grilling, singing, dancing and always had the time to help others. Alex loved his family and friends and will be missed. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church in Paterson, NJ.

Alex is survived by his beloved wife, Milica (Reljic); three children, Sandra Ford and her husband Shawn Ford, Alex Cupac, Jr. and Stefanie Cupac Del Tufo and her husband Alan Del Tufo; two grandchildren, Taylor Ford and Brian Ford; two brothers, Stojan and Chester Cupac.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Stevan, Momir and Sava Cupac.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 30th, 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, NJ. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 31st, 10:15 am from the funeral home and 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church, 119 Carlisle St., Paterson, NJ.
