Alexander Quintavella

Alexander Quintavella, 95, of Clifton passed away peacefully on March 2, 2015.
Born and raised in Paterson, Mr. Quintavella resided in Clifton since 1957. He was a life member and past Chairman of the Society of Mechanical Engineers and a member of the Order of Engineers as well as a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Professional Engineers.
Mr. Quintavella attended the Newark College of Engineering and was stationed in Fort Belvior, VA with the Army Corps of Engineers.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Norah (nee Conway) in 2001; two dear brothers, Joseph Quintavella and Nicholas Quintavella; one dear sister, Anna Quintavella; and one cherished great-grandson, Callen Quintavella.
Survivors include: his devoted children, Allen Quintavella and his wife, Charlene, of Butler, NJ and Alison Quintavella Smith and her husband, Mitchell, of Somerset, NJ; three loving grandchildren: Brian Quintavella and his wife Maggie, Annie Arias and her husband Michael and Tara Quintavella and her fiancé Johnny O'Neill; and adored great-grandson, Colton Arias.
Funeral services will be held Friday 11:45 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 12:15 pm at St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.
