Alzbeta Korenik

KORENIK - Alzbeta (nee Pohl), 79, of Clifton, died Saturday at home. Born in Czechoslovakia, Mrs. Korenik came to the United States in 1952 settling in New York City. She has lived in Clifton for over 40 years. Mrs. Korenik was a parishioner of St. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church in Clifton. She was predeceased by her husband, John. Survivors include: two daughters, Anna Spatola of Wayne, NJ and Jana Korenik of New Brunswick, NJ; brothers and sisters in Czechoslovakia; four grandchildren, Lisa Cerza, Danielle, John and Gina Spatola; and five great-grandchildren, Alyssa, D.J., Brandon, Anthony and Gabriella.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 9:30 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 10:00 am at Ss. Cyril and Methodius RC Church, 218 Ackerman Ave., Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
