Ana T. Cabezas

Ana (nee Herrero) Cabezas, 72, of Keansburg, formerly of Clifton, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Born in Havana, Cuba, Mrs. Cabezas came to the United States in 1961 settling first in Miami, FL. In 1966 she moved to New Jersey, living in Paterson. Mrs. Cabezas moved to Clifton in 1969 where she resided until moving to Keansburg in 2013. She graduated from St. Joseph's Nursing School in 1969 and was then employed at St. Joseph's Hospital until 2000. Mrs. Cabezas was a former parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton.
Ana was predeceased by her beloved husband, Hector Cabezas in 1999; and her parents, Orestes and Cristina (nee Guiterrez) Herrero.
Survivors include: her children, Hector Cabezas and his wife Alina; Alex Cabezas, Michael Cabezas and Christine M. Marmo and her husband Matthew; and seven loving grandchildren, Michael, Alexander, Louis, Anthony, Andrew, Christopher and Brianna.
Visiting will be held on Monday from 5 to 9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Aspen Corporate Park 1, 1480 U.S. Highway 9 North, Suite 301, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
