Annamae Holly

Holly - Annamae (nee Murphy), 94, of Clifton, passed away on June 3, 2017. Born in Passaic, Mrs. Holly was a lifelong Clifton resident. Before her retirement, Mrs. Holly was employed with the City of Clifton as a school crossing guard. Her posts included Woodrow Wilson Middle School, Clifton High School and School #2, all on Van Houten Avenue.
Mrs. Holly was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton where she had been a member of the bowling league.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas J. Holly in 2013; and five brothers and sisters, Lillian Muller, Thomas Murphy, Ruth Somer, Margaret Nilan and Jack Murphy.
Survivors include: her devoted children, Kathleen Crawford and her husband Wayne of Parsippany and Timothy Holly and his wife Maureen of Clifton; her loving granddaughter, Beth Ann Holly of Clifton; and her dear sister, Catherine Murphy of Passaic.
Visiting will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:45 am from the funeral home and 11:30 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 146 North 1st Street, Paterson, NJ 07522.
