Carmella M. Leone

Carmella (Millie) (nee Tremari) Leone died peacefully in Margate Florida on January 28th, 2018.
Carmella was born on September 29, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey where she graduated from Central High School in 1948. She worked various secretarial positions. Carmella and Joseph married in June of 1954, living in Irvington and Bloomfield before settling in Fairfield in 1962 where she stayed for 52 years raising her three children.
Carmella was always generous with people and with her time, she loved to cook, bake and travel with family and friends. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas More Church for 49 years where she volunteered her time. Carmella was a member of the Essex County Senior Club of Verona where she was presented with an Award for Outstanding Senior for her volunteering and club contributions.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, her daughter, Jo Ann Leone Eades, her parents Anthony and Concetta (nee Nardone) Tremari and siblings: Antoinette DeBacco, Mary Romano, Edward Tremari, Olympia Vitali, Patrick Tremari, Anna Torsiello, Cecelia Conroy, Mother in law Anna Leone, Sister in law Marianne Del Guercio.
Carmella was survived by her son Joey and his partner, Ken Beckvermit of Pompano Beach, Fl/Parsippany NJ, her daughter, Karen Cunningham and her husband John of East Hanover, her son in law Richard Eades of Flemington/Murphy Texas, her grandchildren, Alexis Eades, Jessica Cunningham, Sean Cunningham, Ally Eades; her sister, Helen Tremari, sister in law, Connie Smith and 24 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 9:00-10:30 am Saturday at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls followed by an 11:30 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, 312 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cem., East Hanover.
