Catalina A. Mendoza

Catalina A. Mendoza, 69, of Clifton, passed away on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 at home. Born in Philippines, Mrs. Mendoza came to the United States in the late 1970's and settled in Passaic. She has resided in Clifton for the last 29 years. Before her retirement, Mrs. Mendoza was the storekeeper of RJ Superette, located on Broadway in Passaic.
Survivors include: her son, Jeffery Macalalad; three sisters, Merlita Lin, Perlita Olivo and Erlinda Miller; two brothers, Rolita and Renato Mendoza; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Josephine Mendoza and Francia Miraflor and four brothers, Roberto, Ricardo, Rosendo and Dante Mendoza..
Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 to 5 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Monday 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Clare R.C. Church, 69 Allwood Road, Clifton. Private cremation to follow.
