CHARLES J. CORNO, 72, of WOODLAND PARK died Monday at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Corno resided in New York for most of his life before moving to Woodland Park in 2003. He was a Seventh Day Adventist Minister for 21 years. More recently, Mr. Corno was employed with Bank of New York in Woodland Park, NJ.
Mr. Corno was a veteran of the US Navy from 1964-1966. He was a graduate of Wallawalla University of Wallawalla, Washington with a BA in Theology.
He was predeceased by his son, Richard J. Corno, in 2017,
Survivors include: his wife, the former Lucinda Vieux; his daughter, Darlene Castellano of Woodland Park; his son, Charles J. Corno, III of Florida; his brother, Lewis Corno and his wife, Bonnie of Westfield, NJ; her sister in law, Jackie Lynn Pasley; his eight grandchildren, Jennifer Corno, Scotty Casey, Nicholas Casey, April Crites, Katarina Lockwood, Quinn Harrison, Sarah and Allison Corno and his great grandchildren, Lily, Angelina, Kaitlyn, Liam and Autumn.
Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 - 6:00 pm on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 at Wayne Seventh Day Adventist Church, 218 Ratzer Road, Wayne, NJ 07470.
