Charles S. Kearns

Charles S. Kearns, 94, of Woodland Park, formerly of Clifton and Paterson, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018. Born in Paterson, Mr. Kearns resided there until 1963 when he moved to Clifton. He recently moved to Woodland Park to be closer to his daughter. Before his retirement, Mr. Kearns was a driver for McGill Trucking in Paterson for many years. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local #560. Mr. Kearns was proud veteran of the United State Army. He served honorably during World War II and was a longtime member of VFW Post #7165 of Clifton.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann S. (nee Mullanaphy) Kearns in 2004.
Survivors include: his devoted daughter, Charlene Gannon and her husband Gary of Woodland Park and his grandson, Gary C. Gannon and his wife, Mary-Jo Ferraro-Gannon.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Monday 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by interment at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton.
