Charles S. Rzepa

Charles S. Rzepa, 82, of Little Falls, New Jersey died Friday, September 1, 2017.
Born in Poland, Mr. Rzepa came to the United States in 1947 settling first in Paterson before moving to Little Falls where he resided for most of his life. He was instrumental in raising funds for the completion of the Little Falls Recreation Center. Mr. Rzepa retired from the Guidance and Navigation Division of Singer Kearfott Co. of West Paterson.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a parishioner of Holy Angels RC Church, Little Falls. He was a former member of Our Lady of the Highway Council #3835, Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Rzepa was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Mary (nee Rozdeba) Rzepa.
He is survived by his wife, the former Joan Hines; his three children, Mary Patricia Russo of West Caldwell, NJ; John Peter Sempier and his husband, Trevor Lory of Barnegat, NJ and Karen Lynn Merklinger and her husband, John of Sparta, NJ; his grandchildren, Seann Patrick O'Connor, Kerri Ann O'Connor, John Thomas Merklinger, Nicole Elizabeth Merklinger, Rory Michael Merklinger, Connor Patrick Merklinger, Riley Grace Merklinger and his great granddaughter, Kayla Noelle O'Connor.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Wednesday at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls (Please gather at Church). Private Cremation to follow.
