Charlotte Ruth Hopfstock

Charlotte Ruth (Onischuk) Hopfstock, 94, of Clifton, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018. Born in Germany, Mrs. Hopfstock came to the United States when she was two years old and settled in Garfield with her family. She resided in Lodi for 30 years before moving to Clifton 30 years ago. Mrs. Hopfstock graduated from Passaic General Hospital School of Nursing. Before her retirement, she was employed as a Registered Nurse at Passaic General Hospital for many years. Mrs. Hopfstock was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church in Passaic.
She was predeceased by her twin sister, Liselotte Fascella and her brother, Rolf Hopfstock.
Survivors include: her devoted daughter, Cynthia Bennett and her husband Alan of Clifton; her grandson, Mark Pattin and his wife Barbara and her great-granddaughter, Lyla Pattin.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7:30 pm followed by the funeral service at 7:30 pm. Cremation will be private.
