Cloris (nee Cruz) Struller Kalemba, 86, of Wantage and Passaic, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2018 surrounded by family.
Born in the Dominican Republic, Mrs. Kalemba came to the United States in 1950, settling in Passaic. She was a homemaker and maintained homes in both Wantage and Passaic. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a "mom' to many who knew and cherished her.
Mrs. Kalemba was predeceased by three children: Richard Charles Struller, Anna Theresa Struller and Brenda Lee Struller; by two grandchildren: Mark Cisternino and Kamla Sweeney; and four siblings: Adalberto Cruz, Castor Cruz, Polux Cruz and Danaides Thiele.
Mrs. Kalemba is survived by her husband, Robert Kalemba, of Wantage.
Oldest Son: John (Jack) David Struller and his wife, Deborah, of Frankford, NJ, grandchildren Candace Verrelli, and Chloe Villar and her husband, Clark and great grandchildren Nico Cisternino and Rocco Pearson.
Middle Son: William Otanes Struller of Passaic, grandchildren Sara Sweeney, and Maggie Baker, great grandchildren, Katalina Castellanos, Sergio Castellanos, and grandcat Mishu.
Youngest Son: Paul Struller of Passaic and his former-wife, Jacqueline, of Florida, grandchildren Paul Richard Struller, and Samantha Anna Struller-Melendez and her husband, Christopher, and great grandchildren Raiden Peter Struller, Layla Rose Struller, and Christopher Jay Melendez (CJ).
Siblings: Amalfi DeLillo, Etalides Cruz and Gundebaldo Cruz.
Memorial visiting will be Wednesday from 4-8pm with a Memorial Service to be held at 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
