Connie (nee Alfieri) Polyniak, 84, of Clifton on March 28, 2010.
Born and raised in Passaic, Mrs. Polyniak had lived in Clifton since 1963. Prior to retiring, she had been employed as a Receptionist with Atlas Yarn Co. in Elmwood Park for many years. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Clifton and was a member of the Valley Seniors and VFW Post No. 7165 Ladies Auxiliary, both in Clifton.
Mrs. Polyniak was predeceased by a son, Daniel J. Polyniak, Jr. and by her two brothers, Anthony and Samuel Alfieri.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Daniel J. Polyniak, of Clifton; her son, Todd W. Polyniak and his wife, Patricia, of Bloomfield; her daughter, Dolores Nasto, and her husband, Charles, of Byram Twp.; her daughter-in-law, Claudia Polyniak, of Big Spring, TX; her sister, Mary Scangarello, of Fairfield; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday 10:15 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 11:00 am at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 380 Clifton Avenue, Clifton. Entombment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery Mausoleum, Washington Twp. Visiting Wednesday from 6-8 pm only.
