David Tate Obituary

TATE - David, 64, of Clifton, died Monday October 1, 2007 at home. Born in Paterson, Mr. Tate was a lifelong Clifton resident. He was a self-employed home improvement contractor in the North Jersey area. Mr. Tate was a member of the Montclair Heights Reformed Church. Beloved husband of Barbara A. (nee Witt) Tate. Devoted father of Barbara L. Eng and her husband, David of Kinnelon, Christine A. Varcadipane of Union City and David E. Tate of Bloomingdale. Dear brother of Robert Tate of Little Falls, Stanley (Clarence) Tate of Totowa, Richard J. Tate of Clifton and the late Jacqueline Chase. Loving grandfather of David J. Varcadipane, Hannah, Olivia and Aimee Hirst, Nicole Morrone and Kerri, David and Jack Eng. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visiting will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Clifton Boys and Girls Club, 822 Clifton Ave., Clifton, NJ 07013.
