Doris F. Dolack

Doris F. (nee Gaydos) Dolack, 82, of Andover, formerly of Passaic, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Born in Passaic, Doris was a lifelong resident before recently moving to Andover. She had been employed at Kramer Chemicals, Spartan Pools, and Wise Foods (now known as National Foods of Lyndhurst). Upon retirement, Doris worked part-time with the Diocesan of Paterson.
Doris was a longtime and faithful parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church in Passaic where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society, served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector and was on the Liturgy Committee. Doris was also a member of the National Council of Catholic Women, the Slovak Catholic Sokols Wreath #2, and the Ecumenical Committee in the City of Passaic.
Doris was predeceased by her first husband, Paul Dolack in 1989 and her second husband, Henry (Stash) Glogiewicz in 2005; one grandson, Christopher Douglas Dolack; her parents, Michael and Mary Gaydos; two aunts, Ann Soder and Helen Cyrus; one uncle, Gary Gaydos.
Survivors include: three sons, Dennis Dolack and his wife Camille of Newton, Douglas Dolack and his wife Joann of Newton and David Dolack and his wife Maggie McCarthy-Dolack of Clifton; four grandchildren, Dennis Dolack, Jr. and his wife Alison, Tara Marie Hoffman and her husband Eric, David Dolack, Jr. and Dean Paul Dolack; and three great-grandchildren, Casey Hoffman, Margot Hoffman and Adeline Dolack.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Mary R.C. Church, 63 Monroe Street, Passaic. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's New Jersey, 425 Eagle Rock Ave., #203, Roseland, NJ 07068 (www.alznj.org).
