Doris Vinson Obituary
Doris S. (nee Sobsky) Vinson, 87, of Rockleigh, NJ, formerly of Bloomfield, died Monday, August 20, 2018.
Born in Kearny, NJ, Doris resided in Bloomfield for most of her life. She retired as a school teacher at the Marshall School of South Orange, NJ. Doris was a fantastic artist, winning many senior art competitions. She was also an accomplished Haiku writer and loved animals and all types of music.
Those closest to her and left to cherish her memory include Julie Kornetz of Secaucus, NJ, Gregory and Rachel Kowalenko of Hewitt, NJ, and Michael Abbiate of Hampton Bays, NY as well as Rosie, Emilie and Sam.
Doris was predeceased by her daughter, Lorraine Roxbury.
