Edmund J. Lowry, Sr.

EDMUND J. LOWRY, SR., 77, of LITTLE FALLS died Monday at home.
Born in Passaic, New Jersey, Mr. Lowry was raised in Carlstadt and resided in Little Falls for the last 34 years. He retired as a Manager with Shop Rite of Little Falls, where he worked for 29 years. Previously, he was employed at Shop-Rite of North Arlington. Mr. Lowry was also a self employed Tax Preparer.
Mr. Lowry was a parishioner of Holy Angels RC Church, a member of National Association of Tax Preparers and he loved to travel.
He was predeceased by his son, Edmund J. Lowry, Jr. and his brother, Paul Lowry.
Edmund is survived by his loving companion, Virginia "Ginny" Rovere of Little Falls, NJ; the mother of his children, Doris (nee Dahlinger) Lowry of Belleville, NJ; his son, Christopher K. Lowry and his wife, Teresa of Hillsborough, NJ; his brother, Douglas Lowry and his wife, Marion of Hackensack, NJ; his sister Elaine Lowry of Maywood, NJ; nine grandchildren: David, Alexandra, Amanda, Kevin, Nicholas, Rachel, Scott, Edmund III and Summer; his brother in law, Dennis Dahlinger; his sister in law, Helen Lowry; John Porter, Christopher Porter and his wife, Joanna and family, whom he regarded as step children; and his Fur Babies, Stormy, Bearboy & Peanut.
Funeral Service will be 9:15 am Tuesday from Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls and 10:00 am at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visitation from 4-8 pm on Monday.
