Edna Elizabeth Reynolds

Edna Elizabeth Reynolds, beloved daughter of Julia and George and sister of the late Marion, loving wife of the late John Emmett, devoted mother to children John, Regina and Patrick and wife Sharon, proud grandmother of Dylan and loyal friend and neighbor to many, died at the age of 99 on August 30, 2018.

Edna was an accomplished soul. A stay-at-home mother and wife for many years, she returned to her executive profession for over 20 years. Then in her retirement, she supported her husband's local NJ charity work and Rotary programs both locally and internationally.

Edna will be remembered as a baker and pastry chef specializing in traditional Hungarian cookies and cakes, baking for the Church, family and friends for decades. An amateur horticulturist, her passion was raising holly trees from berries, a process she created at home over 50 years ago. With an eye on fashion, Edna was an accomplished dressmaker and enjoyed her years working at the highly respected house of Gino Paoli.

The family would like to thank all individuals who helped and attended to Edna in her long-lived years in Clifton, especially during the last few days of her life. A single viewing will be held on Thursday 6 Sept. from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ. Funeral service will begin Friday 7 Sept. at 11am at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook. In lieu of sending flowers, share some cookies with someone you love or plant a tree in a special place.
