Edward J. Kwasnik

Edward J. Kwasnik, 88, of Clifton, passed away on May 18, 2018. Born in Passaic, Mr. Kwasnik resided in Clifton all of his life. For 38 years, he was employed with Becton Dickinson Co. of East Rutherford, retiring as a Quality Control Inspector. Mr. Kwasnik was a Korean War veteran having served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953.
Mr. Kwasnik was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton. He was an avid golfer and worked part-time as a caddie at Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton for 18 years. His hobbies included freshwater fishing. He also enjoyed polka dancing with his wife, Veronica.
Survivors include: two daughters, Teri Taylor and Diane Torres, both of Clifton; two grandsons, Matthew Taylor and his wife Maya and Santos Torres; two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Ryan Taylor; and one sister, Jean Ochab.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Veronica (nee Tomcho) in 2009; his brother, Ted Kwasnik; and two sisters, Vera Budnicki and Gladys Kraska.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Michael Cemetery, South Hackensack.
