Elizabeth Martelli

Elizabeth Martelli, 91, of Clifton passed away peacefully on November 29, 2018.
Born and raised in Roccamondolfi, Italy, Mrs. Martelli came to the United States in 1969, settling in Jersey City before then moving to Clifton in 2001. Prior to retiring in 1988, she had been employed as a Laundress at Christ Hospital in Jersey City.
Mrs. Martelli was predeceased by her beloved husband, Pasquale Martelli, on October 11, 2001 and by two brothers.
She is survived by her four loving daughters: Bernadette Di'Nicola and her husband, Antonio, of Italy, Maria Ravipinto and her husband, Anthony, of Boca Raton, FL, Josephine Jensen and her partner, Will Tomasetti, of Old Bridge, NJ and Antoinette Simonelli and her husband, Thomas, of Clifton; one dear sister; seven cherished grandchildren: Sabatino, Pasqualino, Daniel, Sabrina, Nicole, Jonathan and Thomas; and four adored great-grandchildren: Malayna, Giuliana, Emmett and Corinne.
Visiting will be Monday 4-8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral will be Tuesday 11:00 am at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's New Jersey (www.alznj.org) Attn; Development Dept., 425 Eagle Rock Avenue #203, Roseland, NJ 07068 would be preferred and appreciated.
