Elizabeth Abiad Sinnung

Elizabeth (nee Abiad) Sinnung, 72, of Passaic passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 24, 2017.
Born and raised is Zamboanga, Philippines, Mrs. Sinnung came to the United States in 1966, settling in Passaic where she resided since. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Passaic General Hospital for twenty-two years and then at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, from where she retired in 2012. She was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church in Passaic and was a member of the Philippine Day Organizing Committee, the Philippine Nurse's Association and the Golden Girls Club.
Mrs. Sinnung was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carlos B. Sinnung, on September 5, 2016 and by a dearly missed daughter, Cecile Sinnung in 2001.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Aimee Sinnung, of Alexandria, Virginia as well as by extended family and innumerable friends.
Funeral mass Saturday 9:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, 10 St. Francis Way, Passaic. Please meet at church. Cremation to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
