Elsa Aguilera de Martell

Elsa Aguilera de Martell, 82, of Passaic, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at home.
Born and raised in Peru, Mrs. Aguilera de Martell came to the United States in 1993 settling initially in Clifton before moving to Passaic in 2005. As a teen she was an excellent volleyball player. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and travel. Mrs. Aguilera de Martell was a faithful parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Passaic.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Armando in 2008.
Survivors include: her seven children, Marling Chambilla of Clifton, Miriam Martell of Passaic, Brynner Martell of Stroudsburg, PA, Armando Martell of Stewartsville, NJ, Guillermo Martell of Robbinsville, NJ, Aurea Martell-Marci of Passaic and Cesar Martell of Passaic; one sister, Lila Moreno; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:00 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Ave., Clifton. Interment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
