Erica E. Lotito

Erica Ellen Lotito (née Santoro) of Mahwah, New Jersey, passed away on November 20, 2017 at the age of 61 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ.

Born to the late Dominick and Ellen Santoro in 1956 in the Bronx, Erica grew up with her three sisters in Elmwood Park, New Jersey.

Erica belonged to the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, and she worked in the office of Dr. Michael Scrimenti's neurology practice for the past 12 years, and in the Dermatology Associates office for the prior 18 years. She received her degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2008, after 4 years simultaneously studying, working two jobs, and raising her two sons. Erica enjoyed spending time at the shore, she was a voracious reader, she was an avid music fan and loved concerts, and she was a talented cook with an appreciation for good food. She had an eye for color and flair, and was the most stylish person in most rooms. Her strength of presence is an inspiration to all those who crossed her path.

She is survived by her devoted husband John Lotito, whom she married on April 27, 1985; her loving children, Eric and his wife Elizabeth, and David; and her dear sisters, Joanne Kennedy and her husband Peter, Barbara Humphries and her husband Jack, and Angela Clement and her husband Roger, and their families.

A viewing will be held at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home at 1313 Van Houten Avenue in Clifton on Sunday, Nov. 26 from 2:00pm - 7:00pm. A mass will be held at the Church of Presentation in Upper Saddle River on Monday, Nov. 27 at 11:00am. Please meet at the church for mass. Private cremation to follow.
