Eugene W. Steup

Eugene W. Steup, 61, of Wallington passed away suddenly on December 22, 2017.
Born in Englewood, Mr. Steup was raised in West Milford and had lived in Clifton and then Elmwood Park for many years before moving to Wallington four years ago. He was the owner of Direct Electrical Construction electrical contractors in Wallington and was retired from UPS where he worked for seventeen years in the Plant Engineering Department in both Saddle Brook and Secaucus.
Mr. Steup was predeceased by his mother, Helen (nee Puzen) Steup and by his brother, Warren Steup.
He is survived by his three children: Ryan Steup and his fiancé, Diana Matias, of Garfield, Deanna Steup of Clifton and Stephanie Steup, also of Clifton; his father, Warren Steup, of Florida; and his sister, Kim Robbins, of Piles Grove, NJ.
Visiting will be Wednesday from 4-8 pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
