Florence Huth

Florence Huth, 97, of Clifton passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Passaic.
As a life-long member of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Florence was a faithful parishioner, school volunteer, and member of the Women's Society. Noted for her "banana-breaks", she worked at First National Bank as a teller and oversaw safety deposit boxes. An avid gardener, Florence used the total darkness of the bank vault for her poinsettias and Christmas cacti. She also took great pride in her rose bushes, iris, and African violets. She also enjoyed sewing, making clothes for herself, children, and grandchildren. Florence enjoyed reading, especially Christmas stories, and volunteered at the Book Nook in the Main Public Library for many years. Florence was an excellent cook and baker, spoiling her family and friends with butter cookies and pies.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Daniel and son, Denis.
Florence survived by her sons Robert (JoAnn) and Richard (Suzanne); grand-children Daniel (Maria), Jannine (Jorge), Denise (Ryan), Andrew (Danielle), and Jessica (Dennis); great-grandchildren Julia, John, Logan, Kayla, Nicholas, and Claire.
Funeral Services will be 9:30 am Thursday from Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton and 10:00 am at Holy Trinity RC Church, cor. Hope Ave. & Harrison St., Passaic.
