Frances M. Heese

Frances Craig Heese of Little Falls, NJ, and recently of Florham Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2018. Frances was born in West Paterson, NJ on August 10,1929, the daughter of Robert Francis Craig, Sr. and Frances Proctor Craig, and the sister of William Craig, and Robert Craig, Jr., all of whom predeceased her.
Frances lived almost her entire life in the West Paterson and Little Falls area, and was a 1948 graduate of Passaic Valley Regional High School. Following her graduation from Passaic Valley she pursued an education in nursing at St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing graduating in the class of 1951. Nursing was her passion, and her quality nursing care was an exemplar of nursing excellence. She maintained her connection to St. Joseph's Hospital for many years working in Labor and Delivery, private duty, and as a part-time float nurse. She was also employed for 30 years by the North Jersey Training School for the Developmentally Disabled retiring in 1991.
She was the proud mother of six children for whom she worked tirelessly to provide a loving home and much appreciated education. She will be greatly missed by her son, Robert Heese of Little Falls, and daughters, Catherine Del Bosco and her husband Harry of Denville, NJ; and Marie Ely and her husband Dwight of Trumbull, CT.
Frances leaves behind her dearly loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Danielle Del Bosco and her son Zachary; Jessica Heese Nucum, her husband Paulo, and Zoey, Emma, and Noah Nucum; Elizabeth Ely Hadly, her husband David, and Emma and Eleanor Hadly; Jason Heese, his wife Danielle, and Haylee Joann Heese; Meghan Heese; Dwight "Chip" Ely; Harry Del Bosco, Jr. and his wife Lara; and Kristin DelBosco Kays and her husband Zak.
She was predeceased by her children Margaret Ann Heese, George R. Heese, and most recently by her son John J. Heese
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service honoring Frances' life on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street in Little Falls, NJ.
