Gaston Picatoste

Gaston Picatoste, 65, of Clifton, passed away on January 10, 2018. Born in Santiago, Chile, Mr. Picatoste was raised in Venezuela and came to the United States over 25 years ago. He retired as a supervisor with Core Architectural Inc. of Somerset and then Staten Island.
He was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church in Clifton and a frequent golfer at the Passaic County Golf Course in Wayne. He enjoyed painting, especially nature scenes and also loved singing.
Survivors include: his beloved wife, Karelia Picatoste; five children, Maria Laura Gonzalez Picatoste, Gaston Brian Picatoste Gallardo, Alejandro Daniel Picatoste Gallardo, Andrea Marsicano and Claudia Sofia Gomez; one sister, Alejandra Picatoste; two brothers, Jose Luis and Fernando Picatoste; and four grandchildren, Estephanie Gonzalez, Klaus Daniel Gonzalez, Claudia Picatoste and Ava Lynn Picatoste.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday 11:00 am at St. Paul R.C. Church, 124 Union Ave., Clifton. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 1 Union St., #301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
