GEORGE GOCZ, 81, of Hasbrouck Heights died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018.
Born and raised in Passaic, he served in the US Army from 1958-60 and returned to Passaic after the service. He then moved to Garfield where he lived for many years before moving to Hasbrouck Heights in 2000. Mr. Gocz worked in the IT department for many banks in New York City.
He was a parishioner of Ss. Peter & Paul's RO Cathedral, Passaic.
Mr. Gocz was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Gocz in 1936 and Paraska (nee Podajecky) Gocz, in 1981; by his brother, Joseph Gocz and by his three sisters, Helen Jarzabek, Marie Gaydos and Margaret Wyka.
Survivors include: his nephew, Andrew G. Gaydos; his grandnephew, Craig Gaydos, his grandniece, Yvonne Echols; his great grand nieces, Maggie and Brittaney and his great grandnephew, Matthew.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm Monday, Dec. 3, 2018 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton followed by a 1:00 pm Funeral Service. Interment to follow at Ss. Peter & Paul's RO Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
