Gerard D. Roberto

Gerard D. Roberto, Sr., 68 of Clifton died Saturday February 3, 2018 at Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Roberto was raised in Englewood and lived in Clifton for over thirty years. He was the owner of GDR Welding in Wallington for over forty years. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. Mr. Roberto was a parishioner of St. Paul RC Church, Clifton.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Josephine Przywara, in 2000 and by his two brothers, Michael Roberto and Joseph (Juney) Roberto.
Survivors include: his three devoted children, Gina Cicero and her husband, Anthony of Parsippany, Lisa Fierro and her husband, Rick of Clifton and Gerard D. Roberto, Jr. and his wife, Laura of Manalapan; his four dear siblings, Rachel LoRe and her husband, Joseph of Bergenfield, NJ, Josephine Blandina and her husband, Anthony of Brick, NJ, Elizabeth Cordova and her partner, Angel of Glen St. Mary, FL and Alfred Roberto of Ft. Lee, NJ; his four cherished grandchildren: Anthony and Joseph Cicero, Gabriella Fierro and Josephine Roberto and many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends especially The Barbire and DiNardo families.
Funeral Services will be 9:15 am Thursday from Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10:00 am at St. Paul RC Church, cor. Union Ave & Second St., Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, So. Hackensack. Visitation on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
