Gerarda C. Fisher

Gerarda C. (nee Jessup) Fisher, 87, of Woodland Park, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Born in Rockville Center, Long Island, NY, Mrs. Fisher resided in Wayne for most of her life. More recently, she has been residing in Woodland Park. Before her retirement, She was the Owner and CEO of Duradex, Inc. of Clifton. Mrs. Fisher spent winter in Florida as a child exercising the Calumet Horses for the races while her parents partied and bet on the races. She met her husband at Lake George, NY where they spent summers and she donated her time teaching First Aid to the Northern Lake George Yacht Club members. Mrs. Fisher was a devout donator to St. Anthony's Boys.
Mrs. Fisher was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Fisher.
Survivors include: her children, Kathryn Singer, Leigh Rasheed and her husband, Abi, and Stephen Fisher; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
