Gladys E. (nee Hans) Cato, 94, formerly of West Paterson and Manahawkin died Sunday, Sept, 23, 2018.
Born in Corona, New York, Mrs. Cato resided in West Paterson for most of her life before moving to Manahawkin in 1989 until Hurricane Sandy forced her to relocate in 2012. Prior to 1989, Mrs. Cato had summered in Manahawkin since 1971. She was a member of Little Falls Chapter #224, Order of Eastern Star of Little Falls and was an Animal Advocate and member of the Humane Society. She was a member ofhte former West Paterson United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Winter Cato, in 2013. Survivors include her son. Robert Cato and his wife, Lauri of Totowa and her two grandchildren, Courtney Cato and Steven Jacobs.
Private Services were held under the supervision of Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, Little Falls.
