Harriet Davis Obituary

Davis - Harriet (nee Rodgers), 93, of Totowa, NJ formerly of Glover Avenue, Paterson, NJ, died Friday, December 14, 2007 at St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly, Totowa where she has resided for the past seven years.
Born in Paterson, NJ on August 5, 1914 she was the daughter of the late Harry and the late Louise (nee Bradley) Rodgers. Raised in the Totowa section of Paterson she came to the Stoney Road area in 1937, where she resided for sixty-three years.
Mrs. Davis was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ, was a charter member of the Del-Debs and a founding member of VFW John C. Wardlow Post # 7859 Ladies Auxiliary, Paterson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Davis; and one daughter, Veronica Davis-Niewiadomski.
She is survived by one daughter, Catherine Davis of Doylestown, Pennsylvania; one grandson, Thomas Poetz of Little Falls; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Funeral Services are 10:30 am Wednesday at St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly, 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa, NJ, 1-973-942-0300. Visiting Hours are Tuesday 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly, 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa. Private Cremation to Follow. Arrangements are by BIZUB-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 47 Main Street, Little Falls, NJ. In lieu of flowers, kindly send a donation to St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly, 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa, NJ 07512 or to St. Joseph's School for the Blind, 761 Summit Ave., Jersey City, NJ 07307-9811.
