HAZEL "VIRGINIA" DREWES, 96 of Yorba Linda, CA. died Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Riverside Community Hospital.
Born in Lodi, New Jersey, Mrs. Drewes resided in New Jersey, Florida and Arizona before moving to Yorba Linda in 1965.
She was employed for 18 years until the age of 83 as a pharmacy tech at the Linda Vista Pharmacy in Yorba Linda.
Mrs. Drewes loved to drive and travel. She traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada including Alaska and Hawaii. She also took several cruises with her husband, Bill. Virginia loved baking, cooking, birthdays, holidays, pets and family time.
She was predeceased in 1999 by her husband of 56 years, William August Drewes. She was also predeceased by her brother, Edward G. Kuhnen and her grandson, Wyat K. Drewes. She is survived by her three children, William E. Drewes and his wife Deborah of Corona, Nancy Drewes of Yorba Linda and Barry Drewes of Bouse, AZ. She is also survived by her grandson David E. Drewes, his wife Aubrey and great-grandchildren, Lucy and Jack.
Virginia was laid to rest next to her husband and parents in a graveside service at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, Little Falls NJ was in charge of the arrangements. Visit www.bizub.com for more information.
