Helen (nee Gergowitz) Ehrle, 98, of Ocean Beach Shores (Lavallette), passed away on May 3, 2012 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Passaic, New Jersey on November 6, 1913, Mrs. Ehrle resided in Clifton and Colts Neck before moving to Lavallette 43 years ago.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George in 1992; her loving grandson, George Kehoe in 1988; four brothers, Walter, Joseph, Frank and Ted Gergowitz; and her sister, Estelle Mikulik.
Survivors include: three daughters, Georgia Kaminski of Spring Lake Heights, NJ, Carole Kehoe and her husband, Clarence of Fruitland, MD and Lynne McGonigle and her husband Martin of Mahwah, NJ; nine grandchildren, Clarence, Denise, Babette, Brian, Paul, Kelly, Jennifer, Danny and Sharyn; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Monday 10:15 am from the funeral home and 11:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Montclair. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
