Helen Hnatyko Obituary

HNATYKO - Helen V. (nee Vengrin), 97, of Clifton passed away peacefully on August 31, 2017.
Born and raised in Clifton, Mrs. Hnatyko was a lifelong resident of the city. Prior to retiring, she had been employed as a bank teller for over fifteen years. She was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Passaic and was a founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the church.
Mrs. Hnatyko was predeceased by her beloved husband, John F. Hnatyko, in 1990; by her two dear brothers and three cherished sisters.
She is survived by her devoted son, John Hnatyko and his wife, Regina (nee Sudziute), of Clifton; cherished grandson John Peter Hnatyko; sister-in-law Mary Hnatyko of Rochelle Park; nephew John Dublanica and his wife, Barbara, of Greentown, PA and niece Carole White and her husband, Bob, of Florida.
Visiting will be Monday from 3-7 pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Parastas 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday beginning at 9:15am at the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 217 President Street, Passaic. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to either St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 60 Holdsworth Court, Passaic, NJ 07055 or to Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate, P.O. Box 9, 150 Sisters Servants Lane, Sloatsburg, NY 10974-0009 would be appreciated.
