Helen Marshall Kalin

Helen Marshall Kalin, 98, of Oak Ridge, formerly of Clifton, passed away on February 28, 2018. Born in Paterson, Mrs. Kalin resided in Clifton for most of her life before moving to Lakewood in 1998. More recently, she has been living at Chelsea Bald Eagle in West Milford. Before retirement, she was employed as a Bank Manager with Clifton Savings and Loan. Mrs. Kalin was a former parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton where she had been very active.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Benjamin Kalin in 1995; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Kalin; her brother, John Marshall and two sisters, Dorothy Ferraro and Elizabeth Miller.
Survivors include: three children, Joyce Ellen DeMuth and her husband Harry, Carol Ann Maranino and her husband Robert and B. Michael Kalin; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday morning from 10:30 am to 12 noon at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held 12 noon at the funeral home followed by a committal service at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Paterson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
