Helen Michalov

Helen (nee Kravec) Michalov, 93, of West Milford, formerly of Clifton passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Born in Newark, Mrs. Michalov was raised there and Wallington. She resided in Clifton for most of her life before moving to West Milford. Before her retirement, Mrs. Michalov was employed with J.C. Penny Co. in Wayne. Previous employment was with ADP Co. for 19 years and Wright Aeronautical in Wood-Ridge during World War II.
Mrs. Michalov was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Michalov in 2014.
Survivors include: her two sons, Daniel Michalov and his wife Jeanne of Clarks Summit, PA and Lawrence Michalov and his wife Nancy of Keene, NH; six grandchildren, Melissa Smith and husband Kevin, Kara Michalov and husband Joseph McKenna, Andrew Michalov, Bryan Michalov and wife Brittany, Nathan Michalov and wife Ashley and Aaron Michalov; four great-grandchildren, Madison, Paige and Sadie Smith and Asa McKenna; one brother, Michael Kravec of Clifton; and one sister, Margaret Hnath of Wayne.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 8:45 am to 9:45 am followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Michael Cathedral, 96 First St., Passaic. Interment to follow at St. Michael Cemetery in South Hackensack.
