Helen C. Nahass

Helen C. (nee Symons) Nahass, 94, of Mooresville, North Carolina, passed away on June 10, 2017. Born and raised in Paterson, Mrs. Nahass also resided in Clifton and Midland Park. She retired to Florida for 30 years before recently moving to North Carolina. Mrs. Nahass had been employed as a postal clerk with the Ridgewood Post Office before her retirement.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward M. Nahass in 1968; four brothers, Walter, William, Raymond and Leonard Symons; and two sisters, Grace Rothwell and Alice King.
Survivors include: two sons, Edward Nahass of Mooresville, NC and Patrick Nahass of Mesa, AZ; one daughter, Judy Cunningham of Doylestown, PA; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Doris Carroll of Lake City, FL and Juanita Miller of Toms River, NJ.
Visiting will be held Friday morning from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 am followed by the burial at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
