Helen Mary Pelczar

Helen Mary (nee Arvay) Pelczar, 96, of Gillette, formerly of Clifton, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2017.
Born in Passaic, Mrs. Pelczar resided in Clifton for most of her life and more recently had been living in Gillette with her daughter. She was a very active parishioner of both St. Michael Cathedral in Passaic as well as St. Michael's Chapel in Woodland Park and was a member of both the Mother's Guild and Rosary Society at St. Michael's.
Mrs. Pelczar was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert J. Pelczar, on June 27, 2016.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Christine Shanley and her husband, James Francis Shanley, of Gillette; by her four loving grandchildren: James Francis Shanley, Jr. and his wife, Kelly, Kristin Milburn and her husband, Peter, Colleen Kyle and her husband, Booth and Patrick Shanley and his wife, Stacy; and by eight cherished great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be Friday from 5-8pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Parastas 7:00 pm. Funeral Saturday 9:00 am at St. Michael's Chapel, 455 Lackawanna Avenue, Woodland Park. Please meet at the Chapel. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
