Helen Turak

Helen (nee Andrusko) Turak, 94, of Clifton, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Born and raised in Passaic, Mrs. Turak resided in Clifton for most of her life. Before her retirement, she was employed as the Financial Secretary for Ss. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral on Third Street in Passaic where she was a faithful parishioner and a member of FOCA Chapter 30.
Mrs. Turak was predeceased by her husband, Robert Turak; two sons, Mark Turak and Glen Turak; two brothers, John and Emil Andrusko; and one sister, Olga Mulick.
Survivors include: two sons, Alan Turak and John Turak and his wife, Debra; two grandchildren, Mark Turak and Megan Boe and her husband, Greg; one great-granddaughter, Alice Boe; three sisters, Anne Pacifico, Margaret DeMaria and Dorothy Andrusko; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday August 23, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 beginning 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by 10:00 am Services at Ss. Peter & Paul R.O. Cathedral, 200 Third Street, Passaic.
