Henry S. Los, 86, of Lyndhurst, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Los resided in Lyndhurst for most of his life. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served honorably during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955. Before his retirement, Mr. Los was employed as a truck driver with Schuster Express of Lyndhurst for many years. He was a former parishioner of St. Michael R.C. Church in Lyndhurst and was a member of the 709th Military Police Battalion Association.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Adele Helen (nee Romanski) Los in 1998; his brother, Walter Los and his sister, Eleanor Haley.
Survivors include: his three sons, Michael Los and his wife, Carol, of Clifton, Edward Los of Lyndhurst and Jeffrey Los and his wife, April, of Toms River; and five grandchildren, Erica Paul, Noel Los, Elizabeth Los, Grant Los and Samuel Los.
Visiting will be held Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Monday 10:30 am at the St. Clare R.C. Church, 69 Allwood Road, Clifton followed by the entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
