Henry Maximiliano Ventura

VENTURA - Henry Maximiliano, 39, of Clifton, passed away on July 13, 2017. Born in Dominican Republic, Henry came to the United States with his family at the age of four. They settled in Hoboken where he resided until 2006 when he moved to Clifton. Henry was a 1995 graduate of Hoboken High School was a proud member of the Red Wings football team.
Henry was employed as a lineman with Public Service Electric & Gas of Hackensack since 2001 and was a member of I.B.E.W. Local #94.
Henry was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He served active duty in Afghanistan and Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Henry earned the rank of Sergeant and was the Squad Leader for the 1st Platoon of the 249th Engineer Battalion Delta Company.
He was predeceased by his father, Victor Ventura.
Henry is survived by his beloved wife, Marianna (nee Sciancalepore) and his loving son, Lucas Alexander Ventura. Henry and Marianna are expecting another child in the coming months. Henry is also survived by his mother, Carmen (nee Lara) Ventura; his siblings, Laura, Madeline, Victor and Bladimir Ventura; and many other family members including in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visiting will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:00 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
