Howard R. Williams

Howard R. Williams, 92, of Clifton passed away peacefully on December 20, 2017.
Born in the Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Williams had lived in Clifton for forty-four years. Prior to retirement, he had been employed with AGFA for twenty-five years as a mechanic in Waldwick and then in Teterboro. He was a proud Veteran of both the US Merchant Marines and the US Marine Corps., serving with the Merchant Marines during World War II and the Vietnam War and with the Marine Corps. during the Korean War.
Mr. Williams was predeceased by his parents, Howard S. and Esther S. (nee Nelson) Williams; and by his sister, Doris Crowley and her husband, John.
He is survived by his beloved wife of forty years, Anne (Nancy) (nee Kurtz) Williams, of Clifton; his nephews Jack, Jim and Tim Crowley; his nieces Donna Muniak and Robin Kurtz; and sister-in-law Dory Palumbo and her husband, Tony.
Visiting will be Saturday from 11:00am-2:00 pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton with a funeral service to be held at 2:00 pm. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013 would be appreciated.
