Irene Guzik

Irene Guzik, 94, of Paterson passed away peacefully on July 7, 2018.
Born in Paterson she was a lifelong resident. Irene was a supervisor at NJ Bell and also for many of the company name changes for 37 years before her retirement. She was the oldest parishioner of St. Stephen R.C. Church, 86 Martin Street, Paterson where she was a member of the Rosary Society and was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Irene was predeceased by her parents, Gabriel and Stella (nee Zaleski) Guzik; two brothers, John and Otto Guzik; and four sisters, Anne Guzik, Jane Jazwinski, Helen Jakubowski, and Eleanor Waczak.
She is survived by two brothers, Edmund Guzik, Chester Guzik and his wife, Pat; three sisters, Sophie Pohl, Alice Welch and Stella Cleaver; her dear friend, Julie Ramiza; many nieces, many nephews and other family members.
Visiting Tuesday 9:00 am to 10:45 am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Avenue, Clifton. Prayer at 10:45 am then a Mass at 11:30 am at St. Stephen R.C. Church, 86 Martin Street, Paterson, NJ. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
