Isabel (nee Ramos) Lozano, 87, of Passaic, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018. Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Lozano came to mainland United States in 1960 settling first in The Bronx, New York. She married her beloved husband Faustino, in 1961 after meeting him on a blind date. They have resided in Passaic since 1961. Before retirement, she and her husband owned and operated the Jefferson Bake Shop in Passaic for many years.
Mrs. Lozano was a parishioner of St. Clare R.C. Church in Clifton and had been a member of the Clifton Coin Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and tending to her garden. She and her husband travelled extensively including many cruises.
She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: her husband, Faustino; two daughters, Carol Los (Michael) and Sandra Esposito (Paul); one brother, Herminio Ramos; and four grandchildren, Noel and Elizabeth Los and Paul Sebastian and Steven Vincent Esposito.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Clare R.C. Church, 31 Allwood Road, Clifton. Please meet at church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
