Isabel (nee Rivera) Malave, 72, of Clifton passed away peacefully on July 20, 2017.
Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Malave was raised there before moving to Paterson at age thirteen and then lived there until fifteen years ago when she moved to Clifton. She was a homemaker and had been a home health aide.
Mrs. Malave was predeceased by her beloved husband, Pablo Malave, on December 13, 1995, by a sister, Dolores Rivera and by a brother, Luis Rivera.
She is survived by her two devoted daughters: Isabel Hackett and her husband, Mark, of Woodland Park and Judy Malave and her husband, Efrain Diaz, of Clifton; eight dear siblings: Angel Rivera, Juan Rivera, Enrique Rivera, Miguel Angel Rivera, Carmelina Ribot, Emilia Rivera, Lydia Rivera and Aida Rivera; and four cherished grandchildren: Sarah Hackett, Mark Hackett, Jr., Efrain Diaz III and Ava Diaz.
Visiting will be Sunday from 2-6 pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral and burial to take place in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
