Joan P. Fitzgerald

Joan P. (nee Pulichino) Fitzgerald, 82, of Clifton, passed away on December 16, 2018. Born in Paterson, Mrs. Fitzgerald resided in Clifton her entire life. She had a long and distinguished career in sales and marketing, rising through the ranks to become Director of Sales and Marketing first at Shulton Corp. in Clifton and then at Ducair Tsumura Corp. in Secaucus. She then progressed to her most important job as a doting grandmother and great-grandmother. Her warm heart, kindness and generosity will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. Joan loved her family but she also loved her NY Giants. As an avid fan, she enjoyed watching them play and could often be heard yelling at the TV.
Joan was predeceased by her brother, Paul Pulichino.
Survivors include: her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Bohdan Yaremko; two loving grandchildren, Craig Yaremko and his wife, Andrea McNamara and Paul Yaremko and his girlfriend, Ashley Ference; and two dear great-grandchildren, Nora and Bohdan Yaremko.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday Evening from 6 to 9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
