Joan R. Lanza

JOAN R. (nee KLESITZ) LANZA, 80, of Lodi died Saturday, August 5, 2017.
Born in Passaic, New Jersey, Mrs. Lanza resided in Lodi for most of her life. During her lifetime she had been employed at Federal Sweets, formerly of Clifton, as well as an aide at Saddle Brook Convalescent Center in Saddle Brook. She also worked as a school aide at the Hilltop School in Lodi. Mrs. Lanza was a dog fancier and liked gardening and home decorations during her active life.
Mrs. Lanza was predeceased by her husband, Robert, on May 27, 1994.
Survivors include: her daughter, Laura Lanza and her companion, Elizabeth Sorbanelli of Elmwood Park, NJ; her two sons, Robert Lanza of Hackettstown, NJ and James Lanza of Stroudsburg, Pa.; her brother, Robert Klesitz of Hobe Sound, Fla.; her granddaughter, Kristina Elliott and her husband, Trevor and their two daughters, Aubrey and Amelia and her grandson, James Lanza, Jr.; and her beloved canine companion, Daisy
Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Thursday at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visitation on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
