John Fanale

John Fanale, 86, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 with his family by his side.
Born in Hackensack, Mr. Fanale resided in Bloomfield for sixty-one years. John was a Mechanic and Supervisor at S.B. Thomas, Totowa for many years before retiring. He was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Bloomfield and was a Veteran of the United States Marines serving during the Korean War.
He is predeceased by his parents, Michael and Mary (nee Cuttito) Fanale, by his brother, Vincent Fanale and by his sister-in-law, Dolores Winkler.
Mr. Fanale is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Viola (nee Winkler) Fanale; his daughter, Michelle Fanale, MD and her husband, Adrian Rodriguez, of Houston, Texas and his brother-in-law, Greg Winkler.
Visiting hours Monday 4-7 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will begin Tuesday at 9:00am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, 60 Byrd Avenue, Bloomfield. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair.
